Safety Coordinator

Immediate opening to support our Norfolk, Richmond and Hampton operations with a growing and expanding industrial/commercial/marine insulation company.  Related technical degree preferred or equivalent experience in industrial safety and health; minimum of three years’ experience in construction field.  Must possess good leadership and communication skills; must be knowledgeable of OSHA regulations, both Construction and General Industry.  Job entails assisting in administering the Corporate Safety Program.  Keeps up with changes and ensures compliance with Federal/State safety regulations and customer requirements; assesses, develops and enforces ongoing standardized safety training program; conducts safety inspections; serves as customer safety liaison; reviews accident reports and investigates major losses; continually evaluates all areas of the Safety Program for effectiveness; pursues continuous education;  Competitive salary and benefits package available.  Compensation commensurate with experience.

Experienced Marine Insulators needed, PCMS Certification a plus (min. 4+ years' experience preferred). Must be at least 18 and US Citizen born or naturalized. Must have own tools and transportation.
